Hi, I'm Lisa
Little Things wasn’t just born out of a business idea - it came from a deeply personal season of grief, burnout, and a longing for connection.
After years climbing the corporate ladder, I hit burnout and started to crave slower moments like having a quiet coffee with loved ones. That’s when I stepped off the treadmill and opened Little Things.
The name Little Things came to me in the car one day with my husband. I’d been listening to a podcast, and it struck a chord: what really matters in life are those small moments. A quiet coffee. A spontaneous chat. A feeling of home. After years of hustle and noise, I was craving connection and stillness. So, Little Things felt like the most honest name I could give this space.

The lead-up to opening was far from peaceful. Just days before our launch, I experienced a miscarriage. I buried the grief and kept going, because that’s what I’d always done. But eventually, the cracks showed. Anxiety crept in. I became someone I didn’t recognise. It wasn’t until I sat down with a professional that I realised I had never allowed myself to truly grieve.
Through it all - mental health struggles, pregnancy, motherhood - Little Things became my anchor. And now, I finally feel ready to return to this space with clarity. This rebrand is my second shot. A chance to shape Little Things into the space I always envisioned, but never had the emotional capacity to bring to life. I want this to be a place where people feel like they can exhale. Where the rush of daily life pauses. Where someone knows your name, your regular order, or simply offers a warm smile.
As someone with Asian heritage, food has always been how we gather. So this next chapter includes a refreshed menu inspired by Asian flavours. Because that culture of togetherness isn’t just passed down through recipes - it’s in the feeling of coming home when someone walks into your space.
The Little Things are often actually the biggest, most important moments in life.
